Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative virtual healthcare team. The selected candidate will provide urgent care virtual visits.
As Indiana’s leading health system dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Hoosiers, we also must adapt to the changing healthcare needs.
Position Details:
- Full time, (0.9 FTE)
- Rotating Days/Weekends
- 8:00am-8:30pm
- 36hrs per week
- Work at an IU Health virtual screening hub to provide patient care as needed
- Provide on-demand low acuity care that can be completed in a virtual care environment
- Typical on-demand responsibilities will be: UTIs, musculoskeletal injuries, upper respiratory infections, abdominal pain, and other urgent care type of issues
- Expected patient volume: 24-32 patients/day
- Must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and technological healthcare environment
Practice Location:
- Although this is a virtual care opening, candidates must be able to complete their shifts in downtown Indianapolis at IU Health's Community Medicine Virtual Health office located at:
- 714 North Senate, Indianapolis, IN 46202
Qualifications:
- One year of provider experience required
- FNP certification required
- BE/BC
