Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychologist to join our growing team at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support patients' mental health and well-being, contributing to our commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
- Monitor patients and manage referrals which include depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic health issues, pain and stress
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Indiana
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as a level 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center. Over the last decade, the hospital has undergone a $130 million remodel and currently serves over 82,700 patients daily.
