Indiana University Health Medical Group has an exciting career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative Oncology team. The practice is located in the beautiful college town of Lafayette (home of Big Ten member Purdue University).

- Days; Monday-Friday

- 50% Outpatient / 50% Inpatient
- Collaborating physicians on site
- Experienced candidates preferred (AOCN and/or OCN certification ideal), however having experience with Oncology patients either in training or prior experience is acceptable.
- Formal orientation in place with our Hematology Oncology department chairman as the onsite mentor
- Patient population: Oncology and Hematology adult patients
- Practice Location: Primarily at IU Health Arnett Cancer Care (420 North 26th St, Lafayette, IN 47904).

- Key responsibilities:
- Co-manage patients first chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatment, follow up visits and urgent visits.
- Provide education to patients for chemo, biotherapy, and any infusion service.
- Staff education and development
- Covering Inpatient rounding for established Oncology patients
