The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) in conjunction with IU Health Medical Group (IUHMGP), are expanding its team.  The department is seeking to jointly recruit surgical pathologists subspecialized in Gastrointestinal pathology to join its faculty.  Additional areas of experience or subspecialities are welcome. 
    
The individual selected will be based at the IU Health Central Pathology Laboratory (IUHPL).  The pathology team serves 10 hospitals within IU Health Hospital network and Eskenazi Heath.  Anatomic pathology is currently comprised of 55 pathologists, with this expansion plan adding additional subspecialized pathologists.

The academic track and rank of the appointment will be determined by qualifications and level of experience. 

Responsibilities:  

• Deliver professional diagnostic services within anatomic pathology
• Provide on-call coverage and conference support with department faculty members
• Actively participate in educational activities with medical students, residents and fellows

Basic Qualifications:
    
Doctorate or Terminal degree is required. The applicant must be certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology.  Applicants must be qualified for licensure in the state of Indiana.

Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking one additional Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Intensivist to join the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Riley Children’s Health and the Department of Pediatrics. 

Riley Children’s Health is nationally ranked in all 10 pediatric specialties. Riley Children’s Health boasts a state-of-the-art 42-bed pediatric intensive care unit and a 23-bed cardiovascular critical care unit (CVICU), where the Division of Pediatric Critical Care provides care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The PICU has approximately 3000 admissions per year and the CVICU admits about 650 patients annually. The Cardiac ICU provides state-of-the-art care including ECMO and Ventricular Assist Device support. 

The Division of has a robust academic portfolio including an active PCCM fellowship program and a 4th year Cardiac Intensive Care fellowship as well as a wide array of translational and clinical research activity.

The successful candidate will join IU School of Medicine faculty as assistant or associate professor with dual employment with Indiana University Health Medical Group.

Qualifications
•    Completion of pediatric residency
•    Completion of pediatric critical care or pediatric cardiology with an extra year of CVICU fellowship
•    Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care and/or pediatric cardiology
•    Successful candidate will be collaborative, accountable, and engaged
•    Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
