Riley at Indiana University Health is one of seven HRSA Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) funded programs nationally.  We educate and mentor interdisciplinary graduate and post-graduate trainees at all levels.

Location: Bloomington, IN - Specialty: Palliative Medicine

In addition to managing the symptoms, our team serves those with serious illness and helps them determine their goals of care.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift
  • On-Call:  Rotation Based - 30 minute response time if needed in hospital
  • 95% inpatient/5% outpatient
  • Primary responsibilities: seeing patients, leading family meetings, writing orders and writing notes.  
  • Possibility of teaching opportunities for medical students and there are two residencies (FM & IM) launching in the next couple of years!
  • Team:  4 Physicians and 4 Advanced Providers, practicing at top of scope
  • Patient Volume: 6 patients per week in office/20 patients per week in hospital

The Department of Pathology of Indiana University Health Physicians and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Indiana University School of Medicine are jointly recruiting an experienced surgical pathologist with subspecialist expertise in genitourinary pathology for the position of Director of the Genitourinary Pathology Service.
The Service examines and reports a large volume of adult and pediatric specimens from the urinary tract, male genital organs, and adrenal glands. The pathologist will be based at the Central Pathology Laboratory in downtown Indianapolis and will join Drs. Katrina Collins, Muhammad Idrees, Michael Hwang, John Eble, and Tom Ulbright on the GU service. The fellowship program in GU pathology currently has three fellows so excellent opportunities to teach fellows, residents, medical students, visiting pathologists and observers are present.
