Clinical Practice

  • Opening for a general neurosurgeon with a mix of cranial, spinal, and other procedures; the successful candidate will build a clinical practice collaboratively with the other IUHP neurosurgeons in the department in Indianapolis 
  • It is expected that the person in this position will work with multi-disciplinary colleagues help further develop longitudinal programs of care to optimize continuity of care and outcomes
  • Quality improvement activities such as the development of evidence-based clinical care pathways and best practices for inpatients and outpatients are encouraged
  • Shared call with the neurosurgery group with back-up systems in place

Academic Opportunities

  • Opportunity to participate in the teaching of residents and students - research time is negotiable for this position; support for publications and presentations are provided by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional surgical and diagnostic skills and communication abilities

  • Completion of neurosurgery residency in an ACGME-accredited residency program
