This Faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, focused ultrasound, deep brain stimulation, intrathecal pumps, spinal cord stimulators and/or complex peripheral nerve.

Position Details:

  • Primary duties include participation in and expansion of established comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic neurological surgery
  • Duties include program building; direct clinical care; and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students

This academic role in the Department of Surgery at IUSM will work with and represent 21 faculty members and 11 advanced practice providers covering 7 hospitals in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.  In 2025, the division saw over 7,800 new patients and performed over 6,600 surgeries.  The division provides a comprehensive range of surgical services, encompassing colon & rectal surgery, minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, hernia surgery, and general surgery.
