We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist and Hematologist to join our Cancer Services Program at IU Health Arnett located in Lafayette, Indiana.

Responsibilities:

  • This position provides medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services to the assigned areas.

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care to the assigned areas. 
  • Provides medical supervision of the interdisciplinary team and supervises residents and medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties.

  • Utilizes literature and attends regional and national meetings to remain current and professionally competent.

  • Provides medical supervision and leadership to the interdisciplinary team to achieve the maximum benefit for each patient. 

Indiana University Health Arnett's Cancer Services Program's strategic goal is to increase the number of patients served by 40 % percent over the next 3 years through expanded outreach and fully leveraging the region's largest medical group. Prevention, education, detection and treatment are provided by the IUH Arnett multi-disciplinary and multi-specialty team. The program is managed and care provided locally within a larger comprehensive health system, which is the IU Health Simon Cancer Care team.
